Privacy policy
How Runday handles information when you visit our sites, talk with us, or let Alice run outreach, engagement, and scheduling for your brand.
In short
- Runday builds Alice, an AI brand ambassador for high-ticket events and offers, plus the marketing sites and the app at app.runday.ai.
- If you visit the site, talk to sales, or open an account, we decide how that information is used.
- If Alice messages prospects or books meetings for your business, you decide why that data is used. We process it to run the workspace you configured.
- We share information with infrastructure, messaging, and payment providers, and with the CRM, calendar, and other tools you connect. We do not sell personal information.
- Questions and privacy requests go to support@runday.ai.
Who we are
Runday (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the Runday websites, the application at app.runday.ai, and Alice, the agent customers use for outreach, engagement, scheduling, and on-site chat. The same service may be presented on partner domains, including BrainSheet. This policy describes Runday’s practices for those surfaces. It does not change a separate privacy notice a customer publishes for their own audience.
Our mailing address is 4 Palo Alto Square, Palo Alto, CA 94306. Privacy requests go to support@runday.ai.
A signed order, data-processing addendum, or master agreement with a customer controls if it conflicts with this policy for that customer’s account.
Customers, visitors, and people Alice talks to
Two kinds of information move through the product, and we treat them differently.
Information we control
When you browse a Runday marketing site, request a strategy call, email us, or create an account, we decide the purposes and means of that processing. That includes account profiles, billing contacts, and support conversations.
Information we process for a customer
Customers load brand material, prospect lists, and conversation flows, and they connect calendars, CRM tools, and messaging channels so Alice can reach people and book time. For that workspace data, the customer decides the purpose. We process it on their instructions to provide the service, keep it secure, and meet the law.
If you are chatting with a customer’s agent, that customer is the organization you are dealing with. Start with their privacy notice for questions about why they contacted you. You can also email support@runday.ai and we will help route the request to the right workspace.
Information we collect
Account and business details
When you ask for a strategy call, open an account, or work with us on a custom agreement, we collect details you submit: name, work email, company, website, phone, and the message you send. Team members added to a workspace may provide a name and email so they can receive appointments.
If you ask us to turn on SMS, we collect the business details carriers require to register a campaign. From our product docs, that set can include area code, legal business name and type, EIN, industry, business address, and a point of contact. We use those details for the registration, not for our own marketing.
What you put into the product
Customers add the material Alice needs: brand copy, scripts, spreadsheet configuration, event and offer details, files, prospect lists, and the transcript of conversations the agent handles. Connecting a calendar can share availability, event titles, and conferencing links so the agent can offer real times.
Communications
We keep emails and messages you send to support@runday.ai or sales@runday.ai, our replies, and messages you submit through forms on the site, including Talk to Sales and partner inquiries.
Usage and device data
The sites and app receive technical data that browsers send on their own: IP address, browser and device type, pages requested, referring URL, and timestamps. We use it to deliver pages, keep accounts secure, and understand which parts of the product are used.
People your agent reaches
Through a customer’s configuration we may process a prospect’s name, email, phone number, company, messages, and appointment choices — whatever the customer uploads or the person provides in the conversation. Channels the product is built to use include email, website chat, LinkedIn Messenger, WhatsApp, and SMS.
Payments
When a customer enables their agent to collect payment, card processing runs through Stripe. We receive the transaction details Stripe shares with the workspace, such as status and amount, so the agent can confirm the purchase. Stripe’s own terms describe how they handle card data.
How we use information
We use information to:
- Provide, operate, and secure the sites, the app, and Alice.
- Answer sales and support requests, including strategy calls booked from Talk to Sales.
- Run the outreach, qualification, scheduling, reminders, and follow-ups a customer configures.
- Send service messages about an account, a meeting, or a campaign the customer asked us to send.
- Invoice fees under a custom agreement and, where enabled, confirm payments an agent collects.
- Debug failures, investigate abuse, and keep the service reliable.
- Comply with law and enforce our Terms & Conditions.
We do not sell personal information. We do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
We may use de-identified or aggregated information to understand how the product is used. We do not try to re-identify it.
Alice ranks and routes conversations using the content and rules a customer supplies. That supports the customer’s own sales process. We do not use the marketing site to make decisions about credit, housing, employment, or other legally consequential eligibility.
Legal bases
Where the GDPR, UK GDPR, or a similar law applies to information we control, we rely on:
- Contract. Providing the account and features you asked for.
- Legitimate interests. Securing the product, corresponding with business contacts, and understanding how the marketing site is used, balanced against your rights.
- Consent. Where we ask for it, including optional marketing email you can unsubscribe from, and any non-essential cookie we introduce later.
- Legal obligation. When we must keep or disclose information.
For prospect and conversation data processed on a customer’s instructions, the customer is responsible for the legal basis, including any consent required for email or SMS. Our role is to follow those instructions and this policy.
How we share information
We share information with these kinds of recipients:
- Infrastructure providers that host the product, store assets, deliver pages, and keep backups. Asset hosting referenced in our docs has used Amazon Web Services (including S3 and CloudFront).
- Messaging and payment partners you enable. SMS is provided with Twilio. WhatsApp is provided with Meta. Card payments are processed with Stripe.
- Tools you connect, such as a CRM, a calendar, or a spreadsheet used to configure the agent. Google Sheets is one way customers manage agent configuration.
- Your organization. Workspace administrators can see users, settings, and conversation data in that account.
- Advisors and authorities when required by law, to protect the rights and safety of Runday, our customers, or the public, or as part of a merger, financing, or sale of the business. If control of the service changes, we will give customers notice when the law requires it.
- People you direct us to contact, for example when Alice sends a message or books a meeting from your configuration.
Service providers may use personal information only to perform work for us. We do not allow them to use a customer’s prospect lists for their own marketing.
How long we keep it
We keep account information and customer workspace content for as long as the account is open, and then for a limited period so we can finish billing, resolve disputes, and meet legal duties. Support correspondence stays while it is useful to the relationship, then is deleted or archived.
Server logs used for security and debugging are kept for a shorter window. Our working practice is to hold routine logs no longer than 24 months, unless a specific record has to be kept for an incident, a dispute, or a legal duty.
When you close an account you may ask us to delete workspace content. We will delete it unless we must retain a copy for security, fraud prevention, or the law. Copies in backups expire on the backup cycle rather than the day you write to us.
These periods describe our current practice. A signed agreement with a customer can set a shorter or longer schedule for that account.
Security
We use administrative and technical measures appropriate to a business service: access limits inside Runday, encrypted transport (HTTPS) for the sites and app, and separation between customer workspaces. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure. Use a strong, unique password for the app, and email support@runday.ai if you believe an account has been accessed without permission.
If you need a specific security control written into the relationship, raise it on the sales conversation so it can be covered in the agreement.
International transfers
Runday is based in the United States, at 4 Palo Alto Square, Palo Alto, CA 94306. We process information in the United States and in other countries where our providers operate. Those countries may have privacy laws that differ from yours.
Where a transfer of personal information out of the EEA, the UK, or Switzerland requires a safeguard, we use an appropriate mechanism such as standard contractual clauses. Email support@runday.ai if you want a copy of the relevant safeguard, subject to redactions that protect security or other customers.
Cookies and similar storage
The marketing pages in this site are static. They do not set third-party advertising cookies, and they do not run a third-party analytics tag of their own.
The app at app.runday.ai uses cookies and similar storage needed to keep you signed in, remember session state, and protect the account. Those cookies are part of providing the service you requested.
A chat widget, calendar connect, or payment page opened from the product can set cookies under that provider’s own policy. If we later add optional analytics on the marketing site, we will describe the tool and the choice you have in this section before those cookies are used.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you can ask us to:
- Confirm whether we hold personal information about you, and for a copy of it.
- Correct inaccurate information.
- Delete it, or restrict or object to certain uses.
- Export a portable copy of information you provided.
- Withdraw consent where a use is based on consent.
- Appeal a refusal of a request.
California residents can also ask for the categories of personal information we collect, use, and disclose, and can opt out of “sale” or “sharing” as the CCPA and CPRA define those words. We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, so there is no sale or share to opt out of. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights. You may use an authorized agent; we may ask for proof that the agent is allowed to act for you.
If you are in the EEA, the UK, or Switzerland, you may lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. We welcome a chance to address the concern first.
Email support@runday.ai to make a request. We may need to verify that you control the email or account in question. If the information lives in a customer workspace — a prospect Alice contacted, for example — we may refer the request to that customer, who decides the purpose of the processing, and we will help them complete it when our contract requires.
Marketing email includes an unsubscribe link. Messages about your account, a meeting, or a security event are service mail, and they continue while the account or the booking is active.
Children
The service is built for businesses promoting events and offers. It is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us personal information, email support@runday.ai and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We post updates on this page and change the “Last updated” date. If a change materially affects how we use account information we control, we will give notice by email or in the app before it takes effect, when that notice is reasonable. A customer’s signed data-processing terms change only in the way that agreement describes.
